The purpose of the educational ministry at Mountain View Baptist Church is to use small groups that are designed to connect people in a spiritual community. In this spiritual community, believers in Jesus Christ learn what it means to be a disciple of Jesus and are equipped to carry out the commission which He commanded all believers to do in Matthew 28: 18 – 20. There are small groups for all ages at Mountain View. Our Sunday School small groups meet all year on an age division basis. Discipleship Groups are small groups that meet for six to ten week sessions throughout the year. These groups study many different subjects that serve to develop maturing believers.
