Our Ministries are built on our purpose:
reach one, win one, teach one, worship ONE!
From birth through Senior Adults, MVBC provides opportunities for believers to evangelize, grow, serve and worship. MVBC is continually growing and shaping our ministries to reach people where they are. We encourage you to get involved, plug in, and dig deep.
Children's Ministry is the foundation upon which the Christian life is built. Our children participate in small groups on Sunday Mornings, Missions Activities on Wednesday Nights, and AWANA on Sunday Evening, on top of a wide variety of fun activities scattered throughout the year.
MVStudents are about 2 things: 1. Being Personal and 2. Being Practical. We teach that everyone needs to be in a relationship with Jesus and in relationship with other Christians through Bible Study, Discipleship, Worship, and Fun. We also want to equip our students to live our their faith Monday-Sunday, 24/7.
We are Serious about the Bible, Serious About Worship, and Serious about FUN!
Women on Mission
Women on Mission is a mission organization for ladies of all ages. The group at MVBC meets the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. on the first floor of the education building. At each meeting there is a short devotion, each Southern Baptist missionary with a birthday that day is lifted up in prayer and then the ladies learn about missionaries, ministries or other ministry needs. The women share the love of Christ by supporting selected ministries on an on-going basis while also participating in local ministry projects as needs arise.
Senior Adult Ministry
Our Senior Adults are a very important part of our church family and our student ministry honors our senior adults annually with a luncheon. The Senior Adult Ministry schedules lunches at various local restaurants in the River Region area.
Our young adults gather regularly for Bible Study and discipleship, sometimes in homes, other times at various places around the community.
The College/Career join MVStudents for worship on Wednesday evenings, then break off into their own small group for discussion and digging deep together. They also play important roles in leadership in both our student ministry and children's programs.
Our Worship Ministry exists to lead the people of MVBC in bringing their sacrifice of praise before the Lord. We lead by example, by being lead worshipers, not just worship leaders.
Vocally, instrumentally, or technically, we have a place for everyone to serve.
